Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional attitude Offer samples, answer product questions, and provide recommendations Cut, slice, and package cheese and deli items Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting This full-time position is based at our retail location at 5060 State Route 557, Millersburg, OH 44654. You’ll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–5 PM) with Sundays off.
Monitor milk quality and composition; adjust recipes and processes as needed. Control recipe parameters and production timing from the vat deck through brining. Verify proper completion of Clean-in-Place (CIP) and sanitation procedures. Conduct and record quality and micro-trending samples during production. Maintain clean, safe, and efficient equipment and work areas. Communicate with Milk Preparation, Evaporator, and production staff for seamless operation. Perform additional tasks as needed to keep production running fluidly, including occasional shift coverage.
Rotate between Milk Preparation and Whey Evaporator duties to maintain production quality and efficiency (two days in each role per week). Prepare, standardize, and monitor milk and whey to meet product specifications. Operate, clean, and maintain evaporator and processing equipment. Monitor silo levels, flow rates, and system performance for consistency. Perform CIP, sanitation, and safety procedures while communicating any process deviations.
Operate and control automated cheese production lines using Human Interface (HMI) systems Perform and document quality checks and pre-operation procedures Monitor product flow, temperature, and equipment performance for consistency Conduct sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas Identify, report, and communicate any deviations from quality or safety standards Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment
